    No i did not get a pic of the unit. i think it was called a grade all. had a squirt boom with a ditching bucket on the end. Cummins triple nickle lower eng and I'm not sure what the upper was. it was a v configuration tho.

    I'm not sure what a XM977 looks like but the M819 is a pretty good road block all by itself! i wish i could have been there to see that! I I I I I mean to help! I'm sure you were very popular.

    dont know on these.how can you turn one out and have it do anything? must have a shoulder that locks against the housing or a slot that it goes in to? interesting. i have a brand new set but have never used them yet. i will look when i go out to take pics. the s cam brakes that i started this...

    Ron you are correct. if you look at the way the wedge style are mounted on the 900's you can see why they are out of harms way a little more. also they are much smaller in diameter and that keeps them off the ground a little more. i have a set of 900's and i will get a shot of them a little...

    Ron i agree 100% about the straight air. the 900's use it but they use the wedge type. the wedge type is a far better set up. but the s cam is more user friendly. one of the advantage's with the wedge is less chance of the chambers getting damaged.

    Ron, Joe, I found these on a mobil crane. they have a different suspension than our 5 tonners but the housing is the same i think. even useing just the backing plates would be a great thing. but we know now that they are out there.
