    Re: RE: Help on Year/Serial# for SF97 - Bring home photos That will only work if the truck is made betwwen 1968 through 1972. If the truck was made 1982 through 1987 the year will be the first two numbers. All other years there is no way to tell just by looking at the numbers.

    Don't know about the 5-ton but I have a little info on the m35a2. It was contracted in 1968 but most of the "0425-*****" trucks were built in 1969 according to DDoyles article in MVM. DDoyle or medlog can give you more info.
