The original sleeve will fit over the brass sleeve:

Anyone see a reason why this would not work? It's a stainless steel bolt with a brass sleeve. No one local has the part and I would like to get it buttoned up today if possible.

I got it out with the home made version! I have a couple more questions: Is the bolt supposed to be long enough so that the filter is loose? Any one know the part # of that bolt? I'm going to try to match it at the hardware store now and see how that goes. Thanks again for all the help.

The bolt is 1/4" so the square part of the tool is 1/8"

Here is the bolt: You can see it mushroomed near the threads from me being a dumb gorilla.

I'm looking for the easy out. Advance only had 3/8" which is too big.
