Not sure the risk of climbing all the way up the tree would be worth it, but definitely height is your friend and you will probably see fairly significant difference in signal strength from the top of the tree as opposed to the roof so...

    Well, I went and passed the Extra test yesterday:-) Didn't think that would ever happen! But I got 100% even! Still using my same call sign for now unless a 1x2 or 2x1 I really like comes available.
