    Why would it slide with bumps? The rearend doesn't move and the eng/trans/tc doesn't move. Bumps don't effect anything.

    for a completely custom build, this is what I would do. A Humjeep. Maybe narrow it 12" and put a TD inline 4 in it. I think it would be a blast.
