Top bolt on Alternator sheared off
Replace your upper bracket with the one below. Flip your alternator around and put the two mounting bolts on top. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Cummins-SUPPORT-ALTERNATOR-3929418-/143945804592?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286 Uses napa belt 25-080680 which is the stock one.- simp5782

No. Wolverine technologies makes junk in my opinion. Overpriced and not up to spec. The mount setup probably has a rear drop bracket and it shouldn't be. It should be a short hinge j180 alternator. With the correct spacer bracket with both mounting bolts on the same mount Get the correct...- simp5782

It's actually the wrong mount. The correct one sits the ears out further so the sleeves in the alternator aren't extended- simp5782

Weak motor mounts caused the bolt to walk and then shear. Not uncommon- simp5782
