    The 1st result when I did a search... Removing the bar behind the front seats | SteelSoldiers Aurora stated the b-pillar wobbled when the doors were shut. (post #8)

    Someone posted a while back that their entire b-pillar wobbled on their soft top. After the braces were cut out. FWIW, i would never buy a hmmwv that had those cut out. The bars were not put there to support shelters. Shelters use them, because they are there.

    It wasn’t put there for looks... You can drill new holes in the seat brackets to recline the back.
