    Isn't that plug keyed to only fit on in one position? Didn't you swap the light switch because the lights didn't work? Meaning it hadn't been unplugged yet...

    There is a fuse inside the switch. I dont know if that is serviceable. Did you mess with headlights before this problem? Like maybe imported LEDs
