The round hose holders on the drivers side of the tank are actually for the large diameter, large nozzle hose. Much higher velocity flow than smaller hose and nozzle that connects inside the rear compartment. This hose is used for dispensing fuel. My hose and nozzle are on the other side intact...
So your title got my interest, a complete M49a2c is really rather rare. Here's a very recent picture of my 1985 M49a2c & 1968 ENG-3. M49a2c is complete and operational. Has all its hoses and nozzles, including the hard hoses for sucking out of a tank.
