Anything Hummer H1 is more expensive than HMMWV. I think the Jeep unit is a safe place to start. Then purchase the back bracket and switch on Flea bay. They are always there. All in 100-125 clams.

Rewinding a motor takes hours by hand and is a very precise activity. I don’t have the patience nor the technical expertise. Easier to sell the 24 Volt units for a lot of $ and then purchase the cheaper 12 Volt units. Another method is using a power inverter circuit.
