    . This is almost the Ford vs Chevy debate. Only difference being that DOT 3 is cheaper and works just fine. And, if you have a burning desire to have silicone brake fluid (the DOT 5 stuff) it will work just fine too. Mixing DOT 5 and DOT 3 is bad MoJo. You can use either but not both...
