    I’ve seen some use 5 and 10 lb persuaders to strike the deflated sidewalls of our tires to free them up from the rims before pulling apart.

    I have not read the entire thread, however Hummer parts guy seems to have this thing covered. (Personally I prefer knowing that I have Runflats to keep me safe.)
