As for removal the only tip I can think of is to go to Harbor Freight and get one of the small furniture dollys for $10. Tip only works on a nice concrete floor though or you'll be cussing me.- swbradley1

It uses air for reverse and not 5th gear. When you put it into reverse you will hear and maybe feel it. I'm not a transmission guy and there isn't any linkage to adjust but you can take off the top cover and look at it.- swbradley1

Did you look in the manuals to see if there is an adjustment (other than clutch)? No electronics. They use air to do things. Mine that I sold was a great truck.- swbradley1
