I assume you want to turn the engine over by hand to keep it from seizing up? A couple ways to do this, one I talked about above, using a socket wrench on the harmonic balancer pully bolt. I'm not a fan of doing that as I've always been afraid of breaking or stripping the bolt if the engine is...
Turning the fan will do nothing as it is mounted on a clutch, you could turn the engine over with a socket wrench and a bar from underneath. I don't remember the size of the large bolt on the front of the crankshaft.
