I realigned the IP but have not driven the truck yet. It was freaking cold here yesterday and the batteries got drained from cranking. I'll see if is smokes again after the alignment.

If the timing is off, is it possilbe that too much fuel is being drawn into the pump?

I did a search but found nothing on my issue: I just changed out my injector pump with a remanufactured pump. The engine has a lot more power than before. However, there is a lot of unburned fuel coming out of the exhaust. I can really see it at night when there are headlights behind me...
