    Go with at least a 9000 lb winch. The general rule of thumb for winches is at least 1.5 times the GVWR of the truck. Most K5's are around 6k anyways so a 9k winch should be the minimum. A 8274 is a nice winch but just not big enough for these trucks. Someone had a post on here a while back...
