    Welcome Blacktop! Yes, that is somewhat normal if it's been sitting for a while, as long as the smoke isn't like a thick acrid smoke screen (see WM's engine post!). The condition is called "wet stacking"...google that term and you'll see what it is. Give it a good hard run...100 miles or so...
