    LOL OK. For those that of you that are admiring the M820 rather than prior users, MOS 35H (now something else since they reorganized the MOS numbers) is small enough that you usually know someone at any post you wind up at. The question was worth asking. :)

    IIRC, you *can* flip the gate down even with the van body deck, and then the deck down to the ground with no PTO or three phase, just be sure you have power to put it back up, or people are gonna laugh at your really big, really flat bumper. I could be off on this since it has been 2 decades...

    The M820A2 liftgate covers the rear doors when stowed. It does not flip under and nest below the van body. There's no opening the rear doors unless the gate is lowered to deck level or lower.
