I sold that truck a few years ago do to money needs. I just got another one end of last year for much less. I missed that truck! The best part of it for me was the liftgate. Only comes in the A2 version. Makes a great work platform and as a draw-bridge between trucks when transferring...
Thank you so much for sharing the pictures! I always wanted to know how the interior of the van was set up. It is so cool to see it in action. Those are great pictures. They really make the thread complete.
The side doors are secured as long as the walls are in the stowed position. The rear door had a spot for installing a padlock. I always kept it locked. If the liftgate is stowed in the up position - there is no access to the rear box. That is why i had all the tool boxes on the outside. If...
The A2 version was used as an electronic repair shop. The lifgate was used to lift heavy equipment so it would not get damaged trying to get it into the box.
I have done some modifications on it since i posted this thread. Super singled the tires, A/C in the cab, additional tool boxes behind the cab, and Auxiliary Fuel Tank. The threads are located under the 5 ton section. Do a search by my USER NAME.
Thank you for the compliments. Can't take any pictures with the truck expanded. I have some equipment stored in it so no room to work. I will need help to expand the body. Its really not an easy one man operation!
As far as tire upgrade, I would love to. 1400-20's will do! I just need the...

I removed the entire driver seat and measured it for size. I decided to modify the air ride seat so i could mount it the same way the spring ride seat was installed...
Well its been a while since i posted anything in this thread. I have not done a lot to the truck yet but I am slowly doing some modifications and cleanup to the truck.
About 2 weeks ago I removed the 2 Multi-Heaters from the back of the truck box. They were no longer hooked up to heat the...
It is a very heavy duty extension cord to plug the truck into a 3 phase generator or another 3 phase power source. Its about the diameter of a silver dollar. Probably 100 AMP.
After gettin razzed by papabear about the 45 degree exhaust elbow and flapper I decided to return them to NAPA and get a 90 instead! Since my wife had the car, BILLY and I took his pickup to NAPA and made the exchange.
When we returned Billy took off and I started to repair the exhaust stack...
Well its day 1 after a successful recovery trip. See MV Road Trip thread for details of the recovery trip.
I got out to the truck late morning. I was waiting for the temperature to go up. Ended up being a perfect day for working on the truck!
First thing I wanted to test was the batteries...
