I used to be in the TV business, building them. It cost about $75 to make an RCA 23 inch cabinet model. It sold for several hundred dollars, like $600 or so as I recall. Building costs are not necessarily the costs of final sale and delivery. Ouverson and jatonka put their money on the line...

Minor problem. Post the pics. That is a good report for all who have the Ouverson hubs for sure.

Actually, I think the term design is what you mean. I doubt either shows signs of poor quality manufacturing. And, sometimes the more complex the design the more problem areas are found. Just thinking out loud. I have to say the only failure of either design appears to be a minor matter.

That is a very good price.

While I do not want to restart the debate over whose lock out hubs are 'better' than another, I think it fair to point out that in all the posts here about the lock out hubs the only reports of failures involved the Ouverson. The first was by sermis, whose hub was destroyed by a highway barrier...
