Kenny, pretty much all of the aal's today are the type Croatan described. Meant to be bolted into the pack. I've had good luck with long aal's in the past but that was on vehicles with positively arched springs, not sure how they'd work on our stock front springs.

I believe kert over at DIY4x makes degreed blocks similar to zero rates. He's a vendor over on CK5 so you get the discount.

Looks good. Lots of good work there. Did you have to hammer back your wheel well liners? I did and I didn't trim as much in the rear as you did.

I've got 1" of lift up front, stock rear suspension, cut fenders, and narrow 38's and I'd have to say 50% of the folks who walk up to Big Ugly think it's lifted at least 4".

Actually with a 38x14.5x16 I think he's talking about Super Swampers.

5.13's used to be as low as they went. Might be lower available now. You'd need REALLY big tires or double over drive for them though.

Pretty much anything below 12.5" wide is considered narrow in a 38" tall tire. Guys talk of my 11-11.5" wide 11.00R16's as pizza cutters.:-D 4" of lift, some front axle moving, and a helping of cutting has been used to make 44's fit so these are certainly doable. Just depends how much work...

What he said. That's a wide tire and even with 4" of lift it will require fender cutting to properly clear. Most likely a LOT of cutting.
