I've never seen a set of combat rims in person. For some reason I doubt they are chamfered (the holes) on the back side. (there would be no reason for the manufacture to waste time on that)
You can pm "cavemantrucks" and see if he can give you any specifics you need. I looked thru his threads and didnt see a build thread on this specific truck but he does have a few other build threads on similar trucks.
What thread did you pull it out from? Looks like a cavemantrucks truck. I know he put the visors (sp?) on his trucks.
Edit: yep, cavemantrucks, http://www.steelsoldiers.com/members/cavemantrucks-albums-cavemantrucks.html
Started a quik paint job on mine.
Still working on it. Need to secure the bed to the frame and get it painted, swap my hard top to it and a few other small things.
For you guys that put the 105 bed right ontop of the deuce frame, how are you bolting it down? I have a piece of oak between mine to clear the crossmember rivets...
82ABNMP, That is one very nice truck. Did you use the bed and frame from the trailer?
Im hoping to Bob the deuce Im picking up in the next few weeks and Im trying to find the right look to shoot for and I think I just found it.
The cargo covers make these trucks look so much better. They look good without them but to me the bed looks like the sides are to low. With the cargo cover you dont see that. If I had the time and money Id take a 105 bed and cut the wheel well out and build it to match the size of the front...
