I was off air for about a year, but have just started back since working at putting some radios in the deuce ( I have them, but I need a 12 volt system in the deuce - half way there),
So we could turn into hams,,,, crawl into a comm shelter and talk to each other (when we are all about 40...
Well I dont know about Irvine, but it makes it to fullerton and anahiem, maybe santiago would be better....
Brian , That would be just about what I was thinking of doing years ago, but only with a retired san bernadino country fire comms truck ( never happened). I only found one manufacturer...

nf6x, I have an extra set of troop seats that came with my deuce ( I have a drop side, but havent compared if the extra one are the same). Do You ever get on the Keller repeater?
