    The Army number for it is 04A83771, they type is 0525, and the serial number (that should match the frame is 17745. Just from what I've seen on my own trucks, it was probably made in 1970-72 by either Kaiser Jeep (early) or AM General (71 on). HTH. BTW, there is a 2009 VIN Info thread, but...
