    yeah Tex, the in-tank pump is what gets the fuel to the filters...the IP head is just supposed to pressurize the fuel so you get good atomization at the injectors. Unless you are one of the many running without the in-tank pump, then a good IP will suck the fuel from the tank as long as there...

    First off you are dealing with fluid pressures up around 1500 PSI in some cases on the injectors. Whatever you do, don't mess around with that stuff while someone is cranking the engine...oil injection under the skin is very serious and can be deadly, at the very least you could loose a finger...
