    2hrs. is plenty. I don't see why a workaround for the thermo is necessary. We've got enough to do as it is.

    Was 15 below here the other night. Yesterday morning the CUCV just would not start. Plugged it in (with the low rad heater and freeze plug block heater) and it fired right up this morning at around zero. Very happy with the setup so far.

    Anyone have part numbers? I need to drop in one and will probably go with a magnetic oil pan heater as well. Ordered a freeze plug heater and a lower rad hose heater. After install, I'll post if the parts were correct.
