    Any "mechanically unsavvy" owners?

    Definitely make sure you do your homework on shops before you take a vehicle (esp. a deuce) to them. If you take it to a shop that doesn't have a lot of experience with them, they will only guess at possible solutions. Since you wont know much about it, their explanation will sound correct. But...
