    seems I have more than a winch problem I also have a spelling problem.:grin: so I came to a military vehicle forum for help with my winch and got a spelling lesson ( but my winch still is not working ) perhaps I should go to school theacher forum to get help with my winch. :Dfat lady singsaua

    winch problem

    I was winching out my dodge as I was wenching the truck slid down the hill and gave the wench line a pretty good jerk. When I say left side that would be standing in front of the truck looking at the winch.

    So I used my wench for the first time yesterday. worked fine at first then all of a suden stoped working then this morning I see gear oil leaking from some where on the left side of it .any ideas of what the problem could be ?
