I believe they are 20,000lbs. We have one from our bridge truck which we plan on installing on a headache rack on one of our M818's. They are a nice winch.
Combst32- Thanks for the offer. We are looking for a good condition original M812 that has been uncut. We sold our last M812 to a logger in Arkansas and I kick myself. We did a bit of work to that truck (new rod and main bearings, adjusting all the brakes, new fan bearings, new master...
If anyone knows of a good M812 bridge truck out there please PM me! I'd love to have another one to fix up. I'm just interested in M809 series Cummins powered bridge trucks though.
Here's a pic of our M812 we had for a few years. I kick myself for selling that truck. The M812's are the neatest of the 5 tons in my opinion. They just have a bad boy presence to them.
