Just to clarify, are you saying that you take the chain and run it through a tire so if the chain snaps the tire will stop or slow down the snapping force?

You don't think a chain that has a minimum break force of: Grade 43 - 16,500 lbs Grade 70 - 18,500 lbs Is strong enough to use for pulling myself or others out? I don't use chain alot so I don't know what they will do, thats why I'm asking.
