    If both plugs show oil, then both cylinders are bad.

    Your piston rings are probably shot. Or your valve guides are worn out. You can get by with going to hotter plugs for awhile.

    The biggest problems with "Point distributors" and "Magneto's" is the contact points and condenser's. The points oxidize and the condensers internally rot out.
