I didn't measure it before. My front suspension was almost on the stops. Cost was posted in post # 20.

Yes, stock item. The valve is mounted on a bracket above and infront of the rear axle, attached to the frame on the passenger side. It is easily found and identified in the -20P TM.

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

I gained about 9.5 mph at the same engine speed as before the tires.(GPS verified) So, if you like the sound/rpm of a stock 1008 at 55 mph(about 2850rpm), thats what you'll have at 65mph(with the 37" tires). I am pretty happy with it, for the cost and work involved.(I like the look too) A...

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

On the rear brake line, I bent the flex-line bracket(also is the lower pivot point for the load sensing brake valve) up about 2-3". I also extended the control rod(bar) so that it works correctly. I have lifted the rear of the truck to let the suspension get to its max top travel, and the...

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

Interesting find today. The inside of the tire was wet with BFS again. I pulled the right front tire and brake caliper off. Sprayed it all down with BraKleen. I found that the brake line banjo bolt was not tight(I could move the line on the caliper). I tightened it and went to the other...

Rocky Mountain Suspension. They drop-ship everything. Total cost for my order was about $850 ($100 of that was shipping)

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

So today, we took it to the Diner for breakfast/Sunday drive. I noticed both front tires seem to be wet with BFS on the inside of the tires!(only at the bottom of the tire, like it leaked sitting still). The calipers seem wet, somewhat. Both of the calipers were new, last year. I wonder if a...

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

Rims I think are 7.5" wide.(I'll check tomorrow). No fitment issues at all(I haven't twisted it up). Plenty of clearance for on road use for sure. No T case drop. Drive shafts were both fine. The rear Shaft looks to be pulled out of the transfer case about 5/8". The front didn't bind and seems...

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

Yes, 16.5" rims. Bought them on C-list. Had them sandblasted and primed, then I painted them. I have had these tires mounted on the rims for about a year now!

    M1008A1 Gets a Lift!

Just for reference the door sill height is now 30", the bed floor height is 42" and the top of the box sides is now 60". I am not sure I like it. Time will tell. I need to install some steps soon.
