Does your 314 has this system that the pintle is secured to the truck through a winch system so they can release the artillerie piece and winch it back up to the truck from the cabin?
The ya 314 I cannot remember seeing, from when I was young (early 1960s) I only remember the "dikke daf" (nick name, literally meaning the Fat DAF) with it's 8 wheels. That truck was really impressive, maybe I pushed the 314 out of my memory.
On the YA 126 and the 326/328, there are spare tires free-wheeling mounted on both sides, so when going over hills they help prevent getting stuck. The other DAF thread has an old army promotion video about the DAF trucks. The 126 and the 328 are on my wishlist. Glad to have somebody on the...
