    M1009 Battery size/make/model

    Even though the battery trays are designed to hold a 6TL and the military used them for a while, I would caution against them. Group 31s fit the trays as do Optimas with an adapter. Group 31s can be had in various CCA. The problem with the 6TL is weight, they do tend to crack the sheet metal...
