The easiest way to add a manual switch is to just add a wire to the terminal with the light blue wire, run that to a HD manual switch and then to ground. Easy Peasy. That way the GP controller card can still function and you have a manual backup if needed

Just becuase it works fine does not mean it is the correct way to do it. So you are saying that your are suppling power to the relay from the 24v GP resistor pack? If so I hope your relay is rated for 24v to the coil. Most are only rated for 12v. Also your power wire to the push button is not...
