what should i do. drive or haul it.

One reason I didn't buy from a private seller (or flipper). You paid more than what a GL truck would cost plus you STILL have to service it, and STILL have to haul it. Good luck with your truck.

what should i do. drive or haul it.

Of course if you have any doubts then tow/haul it. I've driven my CCKW (think M35 without the diesel engine, and crappier brakes) so I have a few miles under my belt in a very similar vehicle. I don't think that CCKWs/M35s are horrible to drive. I have been in lifted passenger type trucks...

what should i do. drive or haul it.

No, you do not want to drive with a leaking cylinder. Thats why you PLUG THE LEAK. I have several TMs and even Army Motors articles.. not the MVPA rubbish, the real one that list 'field expedient' repairs. Its simple hydraulics, not magic. If it was on a steer wheel then I would cap it so...

Nothing listed here is a deal breaker. You need a proper license no matter what. You need proper insurance no matter what. You need to PM the truck no matter what. Why throw in a several $100 hauling charge? Unless the deal was to good to pass up drive it. Make sure its safe, first.

what should i do. drive or haul it.

I think $3-5 is still a realistic rate.. diesel is up. I won't pay that, but that's what they 'offered'. I had a 23,000lb Genie boom delivered from H-burg to front door for $180. They are going to get a call :) Crappy part is that the EUC and the 10 day window really limits your choice of...

what should i do. drive or haul it.

For a hauler be prepared for $4-$5 per mile. I got a quote for $400 for just a 75 mile haul (from this board). If you are in the middle of Wy I don't recall much need to stop outside the cities. Get it on the road, plan a trip that has several way stops not to far apart and have the number...
