    Lockers??

So any advice as to what to put in the front axle? I ASSuMEd that I could run a Detroit, OEM or Yukon as long as the hubs were unlocked on the street and I was careful off road. Others have told me that an air locker is best up front. Thoughts? What I was thinking so far would be locking...

    Lockers??

Thanks for all the great posts and info so far! I've been taking a lot of notes and learning a ton.

    Lockers??

Good on you man, but I would have just pulled that bed off. Me and soldier b pulled the bed off of a M105 just to upgrade to the more modern braking system. Did it with a single hi lift jack and some saw horses.

    Lockers??

Good suggestion, but........ Soldier B doesn't learn much that way and doing it in the garage allows us to piece it together on a budget - even if the final cost is higher than buying a fresh one. Hundy has VERY fair prices on used axles. And at the very end (if we ever get to the end) I...

    Lockers??

This is pretty much my plan, just one piece at a time. Hubs, then lockers. I'll install the lockers in the order that I think will give the biggest benefit 1st.

    Lockers??

I know it's pricey but I can do it one piece at a time.

    Lockers??

One of the things I would like to do to my deuce is make it a 6 x 6. I mean when I'm in the mud, sand, chit, whatever; all 6 wheel assemblies are working trying to get me home instead of just sitting there. Like everyone else I wouldn't mind a little more MPGs and oh yeah, I'm on a budget. If...
