With either truck, if you put Lockouts on the front, and remove the drive shaft between the rear axles is supposed to really help. This also helps around town manners.
Have heard conflicting reports about larger tires giving both better and worse mileage.

My A3 driving around town gets 6 mpg. Mixed city/highway its 7-8, while strictly highway it is 11+12. It.is.11 with the the pedal to the metal,.and 11 just 2 mph slower. Never got a.solid 12.yet. Thinking very seriously about adding propane injection. Anyone tried.that on an A3?
