    The only three bolt I saw in a 1009 was in a truck that came from the forestry department and I dont think it was the stock converter.

    I can still buy the six bolt converter at trans star in addison illinois they rebuild them and ship them all over the country.

    You need the converter for the diesel the vibration will kill the converter from a gasoline truck in short order.
