    What ever brand of lift you go with remember you will need to get diff. u-bolts because the Dana 60 uses bigger or wider U-bolts. 2 u-bolt on driver side and 1 U-bolt and two bolts on pass side

    The 350 swap is really easy do the switch back to 12 volt , one wire to hook up to ignition side of dist. biggest thing guy miss is the Governor in the trans needs to be swapped for a gas unit or at least the springs in the gov. and change the torque converter to a gas unit really simple good luck!

    The only thing on the truck that is 24 volt is the starter nothing else the glow plugs are 12 volt not 24 volt ! everything is 12 volt the risistor on the firewall behind air cleaner drops the voltage to 12 volt for the glow plugs the relay under the dash the doghead everybody makes ref. to is...

    Cant really call it a 12 volt conversion the truck is really a 24 volt conversion from 12 volt system to start with and all anybody needs is to understand the old trucks just a simple system most just over think it and makes it complicated. Even the 24 volt set up they put on them are simple...

    The Only thing that would have been 24 volt is the starter! you said the starter engaged the flywheel but the engine did not turn over if the batterys are fully charged then I would take starter off and have it checked or see if its still 24 volt if it is either replace with 12 volt or change...
