    M870A1 Recovery with Tru-Hitch

I got the Apitong wood decking and moved the trailer back to my shop today. This is going to be one long trailer restoration project! M915A1 & Tru-Hitch to the rescue...

Could you post or PM me a picture of your data plate? I'm might have to "create" one and need a bettter example than the manual provides.

    M870A1 Recovery with Tru-Hitch

The M870A1 was made by Shoals American Industries but they look to be out of business now. (Load King made the original M870 trailers.) I think Pinnacle Technologies in Shoals, AL might be the successor. I'll try to give them a call.

    M870A1 Recovery with Tru-Hitch

    M870A1 Recovery with Tru-Hitch

Thanks to a tip from local SSer Hoopsoft, I bought a rough M870A1 trailer from a guy less than 10 miles away from my shop. Last night, I fired up the M915A1 and Tru Hitch to go and recover it (in the dark). The trailer is in desperate need of some TLC. No kingpin, no decking, no brakes, no...
