I just except it and move on...you have to live somewhere, besides with the size of your head there's no more room in OKC! :-P But I did drop that starter off and they said they would have it done this evening or 1st thing in the morning!!!! Must have caught them on a slow day.
Thanks Warthog! I've had excellent luck with my rebuilt DD so I think I will get it rebuilt. We have a shop here in town that rebuilds starters and alternators etc. The have been good to me and stand by their work so I think I will take it to them.
I swapped starters from my truck to my blazer last night. This without a doubt fixed all my hard start problems! This starter spins the engine so fast it has no choice but to fire right up! I said twice as fast before but I think it is more than that! Both my MV's have the 27MT Direct Drive...
Well i've replaced the glow plugs, bypassed the resistor, new gp card, new st85 gp relay, NOS fuel filter housing and filter, new gp temp switch....still hard to start. I think the next logical step is to swap starters with my M1028. I had it rebuilt a little over a year ago and man that truck...
