    I believe I used 1 quart of Lucas gear oil additive 75-140 w in each of the ddrive train pieces I mentioned earlier. I got the idea from someone in an older thread. I think I found it at autozone or checkers or wallyworld.

    less whine I had a truck that whined and I changed all the gear oil in the; trans, t-case, and axles, and added some Lucas additive to the mix and it quieted down. 2cents
