    I went with 1000 ca group 24's because they work with the battery holddown, and i just put a piece of 2x4 at each end of the box to keep them from sliding outward.

    Thats true , when i first got my truck i only had two batteries in it, and the way i hooked em up , you couldnt slave it without moving the cables, maybe i should have just said that... Please dont give me demerits for not being clear on it. :-)

    You can start em on two, but wouldnt be able to slave it. I have two 6TL's and Two group 24 batterys in mine. you could just buy 4 group 24's
