    well i have the starter taken out right now but it was reading 12v and i was not trying to start it at the time

    front battery + goes to top row #1 on firewall - goes to bottom row #2 on firewall rear battery + goes to top row #1 on firewall - goes to bottom row #2 on firewall there are 4 wire 2 black and 2 red

    okay it looks like the resistors on the firewall are not connected and have not been connected in some time and i am still working on some of the wiring

    each battery has 1 red and 1 black wire that runs to the thing on the firewall so i think it would be series

    i need to replace my starter and i have 2 batterys and 2 alternators hooked up and when i test the red wire that goes to the starter it is reading 12v but i thought it was a 24v starter it looks original i cant really read the numbers but it says delco remy on it
