    A word of advice on inverters - don't go cheap. Buy quality, and buy BIG. Figure how big it needs to be, and buy at least double that size. Otherwise you'll be replacing it way sooner than you think!

    Hmmm. Anybody tried a roof-mount RV type AC? I know, it would look pretty tacky, but not as bad as the window-mount units! The biggest problem would be finding one that runs on DC only... Or how about one of those window mount swamp coolers like they had back in the 40s and 50s? :D Not...
