    There are converters and inverters, they have 2 separate functions. Converters are used when you have all DC equipment to raise or lower the DC current. Inverters are used when your changing from DC to AC. I installed a DC to AC INVERTER to power up to 1000 watts/ 2000 surge watts @ 30 seconds...
