    oil cap flying off

    a blown headgasket won't make a cap come off, never heard of that. check your breather tube. check to see if your cap was on tight, a big maybe?? if you had a blown headgasket, you will have compression in the coolant system and loosing coolant. check your coolant and oil levels.
