RE: Can I run Michelin XL I thought so, but I saw a military TM that mentioned that the XL required a tube..... I wish I could remember which TM it was. I could be wrong. It certainly makes sense that it would be okay to run tubeless.... Either it holds air or it doesn't.

I think someone told me that the XL's were a tube-type tire. Does this mean that I HAVE to run them with tubes when used on a tubeless type wheel? I see that the military is using them on beadlock style combat wheels, yet the wheels are stamped with a warning not to run tubes in them...
