    From what I can tell in the TM's that is correct and it has about 5 clamps holding it in place. I don't know if I can get to them easily, but I am going outside to put some liquid electrical tape on the exposed part and take a look. EDIT- I saw where it is connected to the +/- junction bars...

    :D I think I will go read the TM so I have a good idea what to do before changing my truck back to a M1008. The sparks were so big I am surprised someone didn't call homeland security.

    If I get it out in good condition you can have it for shipping price. I will let you know. I was gone all day today, maybe tomorrow. It looks like an easy removal, except I don't know how it is attached underneath the truck.
